This Privacy Policy describes how Fake Text Message ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our
Android application.

1.1 Information You Provide
- Contact names, messages, and images you create within the App (stored locally on your device only)
- Photos and media files you choose to attach to messages (accessed only when you explicitly select them)

- Usage data: App events and interactions, collected via Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)
- Crash reports: Diagnostic data and stack traces collected via Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC)
- Device information: Device model, OS version, app version, language and region settings
- Advertising data: Ad interactions and identifiers collected via Google AdMob for displaying personalized or non-personalized ads,
subject to your GDPR/consent choices
- Purchase data: In-app purchase history via Google Play Billing (Google LLC); we do not process or store payment card details
- AI usage data: Text messages you send to the AI chat feature are transmitted to OpenAI (OpenAI, L.L.C.) to generate responses;
these are not stored permanently by us
- AI credits: Your AI credit balance is synced via Firebase Realtime Database (Google LLC)
2. Permissions Used
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: To attach photos to messages (only when you choose a file)
- RECORD_AUDIO: To create voice message attachments (only when you use this feature)
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To send optional re-engagement notifications (can be disabled in system settings)
- INTERNET: Required for ads, AI chat, Firebase services, and billing
- BILLING: For in-app purchases via Google Play
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the App's features
- To display advertisements (personalized or non-personalized based on your consent)
- To process in-app purchases and manage subscription/purchase status
- To power the AI chat feature via OpenAI's API
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs via Firebase Crashlytics
- To understand usage patterns and improve the user experience via Firebase Analytics
- To send optional re-engagement notifications (you can disable these in your device settings)

5. Data Storage and Retention
- Content you create (contacts, messages) is stored locally on your device only and is deleted when you uninstall the App
- Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics data is retained per Google's standard retention policies (up to 14 months for Analytics)
- AI credits balance is stored in Firebase Realtime Database and associated with an anonymous Firebase Auth user ID
6. GDPR – Users in the European Economic Area
If you are located in the EEA, we rely on your consent as the legal basis for processing data for advertising purposes. When you first launch the
App, you will be shown a consent form (UMP – User Messaging Platform by Google) that allows you to choose whether to receive personalized or
non-personalized ads. You can change your advertising preferences at any time via the Privacy Settings option in the App menu.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a
child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent for advertising at any time (via in-app Privacy Settings)
- Opt out of analytics (by uninstalling the App)

9. Security
Sensitive local data (purchase status, user preferences) is stored using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences. We use industry-standard practices to
protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

page.
